Short-term joint staff training events "PEER TO PEER TRAINING "

From the 2nd April to 7th April 2022 in Gharb Gozo, Malta took place Short-term joint staff training events "PEER TO PEER TRAINING " provided by Genista Research Foundation.

Each organization was represented by 2 staff members who will lead the testing phases at the local level.

The main topics of the training:

• Understanding media literacy education especially for youth from disadvantaged backgrounds

• Understanding Fake news and biases

• How to critically analyse media content

• Disinformation spread and its side effects, such as hate speech and intolerant messages resulting from fake news#

• Visit to the local municipality and meeting with Mayor to discuss fake news and media manipulation

• Visit to the youth center to discuss with youths on fake news and media manipulation their point of view

• Best Practices presented by every association

• Discussion on how to organize Testing Activities in each project partner’s country in order to share, Analyse, evaluate and adapt best Practices selected during the Training
